I know there are lots of descendants of Rev. Peter Perkins out there. This is concerning his son: Thomas Perkins b. October 05, 1810 TN d. November 20, 1893 Whitley Co., KY (two wives: Elizabeth Branham and Catherine Bird) Whitley Co. Will Book Three, p. 499 "The last will of Thomas Perkins. It is my will and desire that all my entire estate, both of my landed estate consisting of two parcels of land lying in Whitley County, Kentucky, one known as my old home place containing about three or four acres, the other where I now live, including my garden and barn, and my personal estate consisting of cash on hand, notes, bank account, outstanding accounts, household goods of all descriptions and any thing else I might have unintentionally omitted, to be equally divided between my nine children and the two of my children who are dead, namely Peter and William, the widow of Peter, deceased, shall receive her portion, same as heir and the heirs of William, deceased, shall althogether had a child's part that is the same as their father would were he living. The following are the names to wit; J.W. Perkins, Elizabeth Powers, Nancy Bennett, William Perkins (deceased) his heirs, Starling M. Perkins, Margarett Davis, Peter Perkins (deceased! ) his widow Mary A. Perkins, Cynthia Perkins and Eliza Jane Croley. It is further my desire that my entire estate be sold at a private sale, provided the heirs can agree between themselves for that to be done, but in the case that can not be done agreeably, then for the Court to appoint an Administrator to settle and wind up the estate as soon as possible to do and after the court costs and other costs that would necessiarily arise are paid, the remainder to the respective heirs as I have here to fore said or directed.
