Hollon and Sally Hollon his wife of the county of Lee and State of Kentucky of the first Part and J.M. Cockerham of the county of Wolfe and state aforesaid of the Second part witnesseth that the parties of the first part in consideration of the Sum of Sixty dollars in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledge hath bargained and sold and by these Presents doth convey and confirm unto the Said party of the Second part his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land lying in the county of Wolfe and described as follows, viz: Lying on the waters of the middle fork of upper Devils creek and bounded as follows to wit - Beginning on 4 white oak bushes on the North Side of Said creek below whare J.M. Cockerham now lives thence runing up the branch S66 E8 po to a Stake N73 E10 po to a Stake N20 E8 po to a Stake N13 E28 po to a Stake N33 E18 po to a small black oak N5 pole to a stake N69 W12 po to a dogwood N63 W6 po to a Stake N60 W9 po to a stake N68 W18 po to a Stake N81 W7 to a Stake Near a hickory S9 E7 po to a stake S9 W8 po to a Stake S29 W16 po to a Stake S50 E 12 po to a stake S32 E10 po to a Stake S10 E6 po to a Stake S11 W8 po to a Stake S15 W14 po to the beginning containeing 13 + [3/4 or 3/8] acres by survey to have and to hold said property with its appurtanances thereunto blonging unto the Said Grantee his heirs and assigns forever and the Said party of the first Part doth further covenant with the Said party of the Second part that they will warrant generally the title to the property hereby conveyed In testamony whereof the parties of the first part hath hereunto Subscribed their names the day and year aforesaid A.J.
