Jackson Times, Feb. 4, 1937 Two Motor Accidents Result in Death of 6 Six persons have been killed and two men injured in two motor accidents near Campton during the past three days. There youths, James and Earl Taylor and Raymond Dunn were killed and J.E. Brewer injured late Monday when a coal truck and sedan collided one mile from Campton. The second accident which caused the death of one woman and two men, and injured another man, occurred about 2 o'clock Wed morning 11 miles from Campton on the Pine Ridge-Beattyville road. Miss Mary Adams, 25, Henry Edwards, 50, and Paul Morgan, 35, were killed and Joe Hughes, seriously injured when their car collided with a coal truck. Clayton Kincaid, driver of the truck, escaped injuries. The occupants of the car in the first wreck, were all from Malaga, Wolfe County and the last three were from Wolfe and Lee Counties.
