EULA MAE BUCHANAN HUTCHINS
(August 16, 1926 - January 3, 2007)

Eula Hutchins, age 80 of Hazel Green, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, January 
3, 2007 at Morgan County Appalachian Regional Healthcare Hospital in West 
Liberty, Kentucky.
She was born August 16, 1926 in Wolfe County, Kentucky, daughter of the late 
R. E. Buchanan and Stella McClure Buchanan.
Eula Mae was a member of the Hazel Green Christian Church and a former office 
manager.  She was baptized at the First Christian Church, Frankfort, Kentucky 
on April 7, 1957.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Roger E. Buchanan.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, John R. (Jack) Hutchins of Hazel 
Green, Kentucky; 2 daughters, Pamela Hutchins Hornbuckle and Jim Hornbuckle of 
West Liberty, Kentucky and Peggy Hutchins Huff and Ernie Huff of Hazel Green, 
Kentucky; 1 sister, Betty Lou Buchanan Sundermeier of Fresno, California; 2 
brothers, George LaVaughn Buchanan and Margaret of Lexington, Kentucky and 
James Bernard Buchanan and Billie of Somerset, Kentucky; 3 grandchildren, Jami 
Melissa Hornbuckle, Lauri Ann Hornbuckle and Dr. John Arthur Huff.
Funeral services conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 6, 2007 at Hazel 
Green Christian Church, Hazel Green, Kentucky with Pastor Lowell Fields and 
Pastor David Fields officiating.  Burial will follow with Interment at Hazel 
Green Cemetery, Hazel Green, Kentucky.  Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM, 
Friday, January 5, 2007 at the Hazel Green Christian Church, Hazel Green, 
Kentucky.
Honorary Pallbearers: Kendall Lawson and Bill Jack Nickell.
Active Pallbearers: Brian Buchanan, Ralph Lockard, Sr., Ralph Lockard, Jr., 
Scott Lockard, Tyler Phipps, and Doug Wilson.
Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home (West Liberty, Kentucky) entrusted with 
arrangements.
