Born June 6, 1922, in Wolfe County, Kentucky, Taylor was a son of the late John A. Taulbee and Bessie Landsaw Taulbee.He was a retired garage and service station owner, and a veteran of World War II. In addition to his parents, Taylor was preceded in death by three brothers, Everett Taulbee, John Jr. Taulbee, and Emerson Taulbee. Survivors include his wife, Thelma Halsey Taulbee; two daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Bill Maloney of Huber Heights, Ohio, and Bessie Alice and Gary May of Bellbrook, Ohio; one son and daughter-in-law, John D. and Gay Taulbee, of HVvy. 203, Hazel Green; two sisters, Laura Noble of Camptctn, and Lucille and Carl Brooks of Hazel Green; 5 grand-children and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00p.m. Friday, October 27, at Herald and Stewart and Halsey Funeral Chapel with Rev. James Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Hazel Green Cemetery at Hazel Green with Herald and Stewart and Halsey Funeral Home of West Liberty in charge of arrangements. Military rites will be conducted at the graveside by Morgan County D.A.V. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
