Will of Mordecai Redd of Woodford Co., Ky dated 15 Mar 1807 & probated 3 Aug 1807 Woodford Co., Ky. Will Bk C, pg 50 In the name of God amen. I Mordica Redd of the County of Woodford and State of Kentucky being very weak in body but in perfect mind and memory knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last will and Testament. First I give and bequeath to Agatha my Dearly beloved wife all my personal property (after paying my just debts) during her natural life and at her decease to be equally divided amongst all my Surviving children that is to say Elizabeth Williams, Lucy Bullock, Alice Yeiser, Nancy Haws, John Redd, Mordecai Redd & Thomas Redd my wish and desire is that all my land in Jefferson County that I have not deeded away may be equally divided between John Redd & Isaac Haws for which land they will stand indebted to my estate at my death at the rate of 75 pounds pr hundred acres which will be deducted out of their proportion of my estate. I do hereby constitute and appoint Agatha my wife executrix and John Redd & Thomas Bullock my Executors to this my last will and Testament. In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this fifteenth day of march in the year of our Lord one thousand and eight Hundred and Seven.
