(24) Daigle, Zepherin - has a peddling hack. Whitehouse news. (24) Leizian, Theodore - vs. John Deitz. Whitehouse news. A large crowd from Cartville attended the justice court held at Millerville last Friday to hear the trial of the case of Theodore Leizian vs. John Deitz, in which Leizian claimed $8.00 damages for the alledged killing of one of his hogs by Deitz. Justice Belomie gave judgment in favor of defendant. P. S. Pugh, of Crowley, conducted the case for Deitz. (24) Miller, Polastio - died on the 8th inst. after a severe illness. He left a wife and one child. He was buried the next day in the cemetery near here. Whitehouse news. (25) Chachere, Aaron - who is working at his father's (T. C.) sawmill, left for Prud'homme Saturday and returned Monday. He will move his family here in about 10 days. Whitehouse news. Fabacher news. (27) Eunice - There is some misunderstanding regarding the future town of Eunice on the Midland Branch. It has been reliably reported in our neighborhood that the town of Eunice would be in Prairie Hayes at the Jewett place. While we always suspected it would be in Faquetaique. Will soneone enlighten us? Fabacher news. (27) Courville, H. - and Prof. R. O. Hardey went to Millerville Saturday week to attend a law suit between J. H. Fabacher vs. Mayo and H. Courville for a store account. Judge Bellomie rendered judgment against plaintiff Fabacher. Prof. Hardey went as a witness in the case. Fabacher news. (27) Primeaux, Lessin - Succession Notice.
