Church Point, Louisiana While returning from the mission with his wife and child, Tuesday night Mr. Marius Thibodeaux’s buggy was struck by Ford car driven by an unidentified party. The accident happened near the city limits. According to Mr. Thibodeaux, he heard a car coming in the rear but before he had a chance to get out of the way the car struck the rear wheel of his buggy, turned the buggy over, slightly injured his wife and child, and damaging the vehicle considerably. Several hundred feet from where the accident happened, the car ran into the ditch and turned over. The driver succeeded in getting out of the car before anyone could get to him and escape. It was learned that the car belonged to a Mr. Fontenot and had been stolen during the mission. No trace of the culprit has been found.
