AURELIEN THIBODEAUX JAILED FOR ASSAULT AND BATTERY
Crowley Signal February 14, 1928

Aurelien Thibodeaux, 18 of near Branch, Louisiana was lodged in the parish 
jail here charged with assault and battery. He was brought to the Crowley 
jail yesterday afternoon by Hiram Fusilier, ward constable of the Branch 
section. The man is charged with having assaulted Murphy Soileau, 17 year 
old youth of the same section with a bottle. Joseph Soileau, father of the 
youth assaulted, who filed the affidavit, claims that the accused was drunk. 
The offense is said to have been committed February 12.
