Hog Ordinance
Feburary 7, 1876

Residents of Coulee Croche claim cost of fencing would cost more than the 
value of hogs to run at large in their section of the parish. viz: From Dixon 
Grove, in Bellevue, to Wikoff Point in a straight line.

Thence, down Wikoff Bayou, on the east side to Stephen O. Andrus, from said 
Andrus in a straight line to the line of the parish of Lafayette having Ursin T. 
Prejean inside, thence down Bayou Carencrow (the line) to Achille Savoie, 
from the said Savoie in a straight line to Chretien’s Point, and from Cretien’s 
Point in a straight line back to Dixon Grove.
