MILNER Crowley Signal September 23, 1906 Mrs. Purity Young of Light-and-Tie was seriously burned by the explosion of a coal oil lamp Saturday night. She was nursing her son Jim, who was ill with malarial fever at the residence of his brother-in-law, Mr. John Prader. Mrs. Young’s death was looked for, but no news has come of that event yet. The sad news has come to this community of the death of Mrs. Louis Milner of Light-and-Tie. It comes as a surprise as the news had come of her convalescent from typhoid fever; but she took a relapse and died Monday, September 21st. Intement in the cemetery of the Coe Baptist church on Tuesday. The family has the deepest sympathy of their many friends, especially her aged companion, who has traveled on life’s journey so long with her. May God comfort him in his deep bereavement. A good wife, mother and neighbor has gone from us. Dorcas, Correspondent
