Various Boundaries of Police Jury Wards
April 3, 1876

Ward 4. Bound as follows, viz: Begin @ NE corner of Twp 6S R2E, thence 
along township line between Twp 5S and Twp 6S, west to Bayou Nez Pique 
and down said bayou. 
 
12th Magistrate Ward:
	Commencing at the mouth of Lyons Point Bayou, following said bayou 
	up to the basis meridian, Thence with the basis meridian north to the 
	NW corner of TWP 8 S, R 1E Thence with the N. boundary of said TWP, 
	east to the NE corner, Thence going north on TWP line to the NW 
	corner of Sec 19, TWP 7S, R2E, Thence east on section line to the 
	eastern boundary of the 5th PJ ward.
	
5th PJ Ward:
	Begin at the NE corner of TWP 6S, R2E, Thence, along the TWP line, 
	south 2 miles, Thence, along section lines and the 1st Ward east, to 
	the corner of Sec 11, 12, 13 & 14, T6S, R3E Thence, with the line of the 
	1st ward, south with section 23, 24, 25 & 26 TWP 7S, R3E, Thence, with 
	the line of the 2nd ward to the parish line of Lafayette. Thence, follow 
	said line to the parish line of Vermillion, Thence, with said line to the 
	Mermento River, up said river and Bayou Nez Pique to the south line of 
	the 4th ward to the beginning.
