Aguillard Rites Held in Mowata

LAWRENCE AGUILLARD, 62, a farmer of the Richard Community, 
died at 7:50 a.m. Sunday at his home after an illness of 11 months.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Lawrence Catholic 
Church in Mowata with burial in the church cemetery under the 
direction of Guidry’s Funeral Home.

Survivors are his father, Durel Aguillard of Richard; his wife the 
former Oliver Blanchard of Richard, three sons, Gilman and Elridge 
of Eunice, Lawrence Jr. of Richard; four daughters, Mrs. Edward Landry 
of Basile, Mrs. Johnny Holthe and Mrs. Bertman Fontenot both of Eunice 
and Mrs. Amos Cormier of Branch; one brother Noah Richard of Richard; 
five sisters, Mrs. Armand Bellad, Ms. Felix Miller, Mrs. Armas Leger 
and Mrs. Albert Prather all of Richard and Mrs. Agnes Verdrine of 
Eunice; 25 grandchildren.
