CHURCH POINT - Funeral services for David Bellard, 82, a retired farmer of Church Point, were held at 4 p. m. Sunday at the Catholic Church in Chataignier. Burial was in the Mallet cemetery under direction of the First National Funeral Home of Opelousas. Bellard died at 8:10 a. m. Saturday at his home. HE IS survived by three sons, Anise of Melville, Noah and Raoul both of Lake Charles; four daughters, Mrs. Ellis Johnson of Swords, Mrs. Corris Higginbotham and Mrs. I. J. Tweedel, both of Lawtell, and Mrs. Elridge Johnson of Lake Charles; and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Albert Boudreaux of Krotz Springs. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Telles Miller of Swords and Mrs. Ella Francois of Mineola, Mo., 35 grandchildren and 75 great-grandchildren.
