Oliver Comeaux Last Rites Held

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 11 a.m. at 
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Olivier Comeaux, 60, 
a resident of Church Point, who died at 8:40 a.m. Friday at a 
Lafayette hospital after an illness of four months.

Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Guidry’s 
Funeral Home.

Survivors are his wife, the former Maria Cormier of Church Point; 
five brothers, Gabriel Comeaux of Crowley, Juste Comeaux of Church Point, 
Auie Comeaux of Elton, Elie Comeaux of Rayne and Walter Comeaux of Branch; 
two sisters, Mrs. Will Briscoe and Mrs. Noah Doucet Jr. both of Church Point.

He was a life long resident of the community.
