Youth Has Relapse After Apparent Start Toward Recovery; Services Today. Ralph Duhon, Jr., son of Ralph Duhon of this city, passed away at the Legion Memorial Hospital Sunday at 8:10 p.m. after a week's illness. Taken violently ill Saturday night October 19, his trouble was thought at first to be acute indigestion. Apparently recovering, he took a turn for the worse Friday, October 25, and was taken for treatment to the hospital where he sank into a coma from which he never revived. Funeral services were conducted from St. Michael's Catholic church this afternoon at 2 p.m., interment following in Lafayette. Ralph was born in Crowley on November 23, 1908, and had lived here all his life, attending Crowley high school, and at the time of his death was a member of the sales force of Blum's grocery, completing his day's work on Saturday before he was taken ill. He is survived by his widow and infant daughter, Rose Mary, five months old, his father Ralph Duhon, three sisters, Mrs. T. B. Bryan of Houston, Texas, Mrs. B. F. Cline of San Antonio, Texas, Miss Stella Duhon of Crowley, and two brothers, Norris and Claude Duhon, both of Crowley. source: The Daily Advertiser. Ralph Duhon, Jr., 22, of Crowley, who died in that city Sunday night at 9:30, was buried in St. John's Catholic cemetery here Monday afternoon, following funeral services conducted at Crowley. Services were conducted at the grave by Very Rev. Canon A. F. Isenberg, pastor of St. John's Cathedral. The mother of the deceased is also buried in St. John's cemetery here. Young Duhon is survived by his father, Ralph Duhon, Sr., of Crowley; two brothers, Norris and Claude Duhon, both of Crowley; and two sisters, Miss Stella Duhon, of Crowley, and a married sisters, residing in Houston Texas. Relatives in this city include two aunts, Mrs. Alphonse Peck and Mrs. Israel Prejean, and an uncle, Alex Duhon.
