Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Monday in the St. Joseph Catholic 
Church in Rayne for Mrs. Louis Moss, aged 70, who died at 11 p.m. Thursday 
in the Rayne-Branch hospital.  Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Moss was a longtime local resident.  She was born November 15, 1892, 
in Vermillion Parish.

Survivors include three sons, Clifford Moss, Oceanside, California;  
Sidney Moss, Sulphur; and Shelton Moss, Rayne; six daughters, Mrs. Odey Viator, 
Lafayette; Mrs. Nedia Pena and Mrs. Noellie Remick, both of Sulphur; 
Mrs. John Comeaux, Scott; Mrs. Whitney Derise, Lake Charles; and 
Mrs. Eldon Nelson, Clearfield, Utah.

One brother, Anatole Gary, Rayne; two sisters Mrs. Eliza Lofton, 
Lake Charles; and Mrs. Dewey Circe, Fort Worth, Texas; and 25 grandchildren.

The Gossen Funeral home of Rayne was in charge of arrangements.
