Word has reached Crowley of the death at Tularosa, N. M., of Mrs. Florence Pulliam, wife of Dr. S. T. Pulliam. Dr. and Mrs. Pulliam left Crowley some years ago, Mrs. Pulliam's health being very bad. At Tularosa they found a climate in which she rapidly recovered, and, since their location there, she has been much stronger. Her death was unexpected, and the news was a shock to her many friends here. In answer to a message, Dr. Pul-Pulliam (sic) wired his relatives here that her body would be laid to rest there, and that they could not get there in time for the funeral. Mrs. Pulliam was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Truman, of Gueydan.
