87 – Year – Old Woman Expires In Church Point

Funeral services were held Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Our Lady of  the 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point for

Mrs. Horace “Boy” Thibodeaux, aged 87, the former Hermina Doucet, who 
died at 6 a.m. Saturday following a brief illness.

Burial followed in the Church cemetery.

Mrs. Thibodeaux was born August 23, 1895, in Church Point.

Survivors include five sons, Wade, Dennis, and Leo Thibodeaux, all of 
Church Point; Maurice Thibodeaux, Eunice, and J.B.

Thibodeaux, Iowa; six daughters, Mrs. Noah Blanchard, Mrs. Aristole Richard, 
Mrs. Lawrence Lavergne, and Mrs. Tommy Richard,

Miss Francis Thibodeaux, all of Church Point; and Mrs. Ernest Miller, Iowa; 
two brothers, Leo Doucet, Church Point, and Constant Doucet Eunice; two sisters, 
Mrs. Bob Matte, Rayne, Mrs. Elgnace Blanchard, China Texas; 36 grandchildren, 
72 great-grandchildren, and five great-great –grandchildren.

The Guidry funeral home of Church Point was in charge of arrangement.
