Marriage Bond State of Louisiana Parish of Acadia Know all men by these presents, that we Wm Cormier as principal and Dosite Doucet as security, are held and firmly bound unto the Governor of the State of Louisiana, in the sum of Three Hundred Dollars, for the payment of which we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, and administrators, jointly and severally, by these presents. Dated at CROWLEY, this 11th day of November 1897 WHEREAS, a license has this day been issued by the Clerk of the District Court in and for the parish of Acadia, to unite in the bonds of matrimony, the above bond Wm Cormier and Josephine Doucet. Now, therefore, the conditions of the above obligation is such, that if there should exist no legal impediment to this alliance, then the above obligation to be null and void; else to remain in full force and virtue.
