To Any Minister of the Gospel of the Parish of Acadia - Greeting:  
     You are hereby authorized and empowered to unite in the bonds of matrimony, 
     according to law and established rules, Mr. Leon Asa Taylor and Miss Espy 
     Stakes} both of Acadia Parish, LA.  And when you shall have done so, that 
     you make duplicate acts of the celebration thereof, signed by yourself and 
     three witnesses, as required by law, one of which acts shall be returned 
     within thirty days to the office of the Clerk of Court in and for the Parish of 
     Acadia, together with this license.
     Given under my hand and seal of office as Clerk of Court, in and for the 
     Parish of Acadia, the 22d day of Nov 1915.
