Johnson, Martha Ann December 7, 1916 Civilwar - Pension 16th La Infantry Widow's Application For Pension State of Louisiana, parish of Rapides, on the 3 day of Dec, 1916, pesonally appeared before me...Mrs. Martha Ann Johnson, aged 53 years, a resident of the parish of Rapides and State of Louisiana who being duly sworn according to law, declares she is widow of Gidi Johnson who entered the service of the Confederate States during the civil war under the name of Gidi Johnson at Alexandria on the 15 day of April, 1861 in Private, Co, Capt Hosey, 16th La Infantry from the state of Louisiana, and that he served honorably until the surrender...
