Margie Abbott
Graveside services for Mrs. Margie Abbott, 71, of Leesville were 
held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, in the O'Banion Cemetery in New 
Llano with Pastor Jeff Henderson officiating.

Services were under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral 
Home of Leesville.

Mrs. Abbott died Thursday, July 31, in the Byrd Regional Hospital in 
Leesville.

Mrs. Abbott was a lifelong resident of Vernon Parish. She was a 
nurses assistant for 19 years at Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital 
and she retired in the year of 2000.

She is survived by two sons, Hub Jordan and wife Sandy of Anacoco,
and Keith Gentile and wife Frances of San Angelo, Texas; two sisters,
Peggy Tuck of New Llano and Betty Elizabeth Decker of Temple, Texas;
six grandchildren, David Jordan, Brandon Jordan, Amanda Jordan, Naomi
Gentile, Nathaniel Gentile and Cindy Baca, and four grandchildren.
