Mrs. Cynthia Buxton Dies at Age of 82

Oakdale, LA., March 2 - Funeral rites for Mrs. Cynthia Buxton, 82
years old, of Oakdale, were held at the Oak Hill Baptist Church at 
1 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. D. Calhoun officiating. Interment was
in Oak Hill Cemetery with Hargrove Funeral Home in charge.

Surviving her are her husband, Dew Buxton; three sons, Cisson (sic)
Buxton and Homer Buxton of Oakdale and William Buxton of Pitkin; 
Mrs. Alonzo Doyle, Mrs. Laura Willis, and Mrs. Mary Brooks all of
Oakdale; 47 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.
