Dew Buxton, 89, Dies at Oakdale
Oakdale, LA., (Spl.) - Dew Buxton, 89, died Friday at 3:06 a.m. at
the home of his son, Homer, near Oakdale, following a long illness.

He was a farmer and a 52-year resident of that community.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Oakdale
Baptist Church with the Rev. H.O. Perry officiating. Burial will be
in the Oak Hill cemetery under the direction of the Ardoin Funeral
Home.

Mr. Buxton is survived by four sons, Cicero, Ellis, and Homer of
Oakdale, and William of Pitkin; three daughters, Mrs. Alziny Doyle
of Glenmora, Mrs. Larry Willis and Mrs. Mary Brooks of Oakdale and
43 grandchildren.
