Oakdale - Funeral services for Ralph Buxton, Sr., 69,will be at 2 p.m.
today, April 24, in Hopewell Baptist Church.

The Revs. Ed Desatell, Carroll Bushnell, Burton Ashworth Jr., and J.C.
Swinna will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery under 
direction of Rush Funeral Home.

Mr. Buxton died at 2 p.m. Thursday in Oakdale General Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Callie Buxton; five sons, Leo, Bobby,
Alva and ralph Buxton, Jr., all of Oakdale, and Ursel Buxton of
DeRidder; three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Ashworth and Mrs. Christine
Willis, both of Oakdale and Mrs. Ruby Ashworth of Winnsboro; one
brother, Hubbard Buxton of Oakdale; two sisters, Mrs. Callie Maricle
and Mrs. Eula Doyle, both of Oakdale, 23 grandchildren, nine step-
grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
