On Monday last, Mr. J.J. Claverie removed his family and household effects to the 
LeBlaue plantation, in St. James parish, which he has leased from Jacob Lemann, 
Esq., with privilege of purchase. We are sorry to lose Mr. Claverie as a citizen 
of our town and parish, but hope he will enjoy abundant prosperity and never have 
reason to regret the change.
