The infant son of Mrs. and Mrs. E. A. Thibodeaux was christened at the 
Episcopal church yesterday afternoon with the beautiful ceremonies of that 
religion, Rev. R. H. Prosser officiating. Mr. and Mrs. G. Donnaud Bentley 
stood as sponsors for the fine little fellow, who was given the name of 
Ernest Augustus, after his popular father. Following the ceremony a few 
close friends of the family assembled at the Thibodeaux home to tender 
congratulations to the proud young parents and express good wishes for the 
son and heir, whose health and happiness throughout a long and honorable 
career was pledged in several bumpers of sparkling wine.
