(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, October 30, 1920, Page 5 October 30, 1920 Jules Ayraud, for the past several years located in Beaumont, Texas, where he was engaged in business, has moved to Ascension parish, his former home. He is negotiating for the purchase of Sleepy Hollow plantation, the property of his late father, on Bayou Lafourche near Barton. The place is presently under lease for one year, but if Mr. Ayraud succeeds in purchasing it, he intends, at the expiration of the lease to engage in the farming business. Mr. Ayraud is an industrious and popular young man and the Chief joins his legion of friends here in welcoming him and his estimable family back to Ascension.
