Elray Kocke, the popular and well-known junk dealer, has purchased from Mrs. Jos. 
Variani of New Orleans, the two-story frame building and lot of ground at the 
corner of Mississippi and St. Patrick streets which he has occupied as a residence 
and place of business for the past year. He expects to demolish the bakery and 
oven in the rear, and to improve and repair the building and make of it a good and 
comfortable home for himself and family.
