(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, November 13, 1915, Page 3 Miss Martha Maurin, an attractive Donaldsonville girl, was formally admitted into the Dominican order of sisterhood in New Orleans last Tuesday forenoon, and assumed the religious name of Sister Mary Ignatius. The impressive ceremony was witnessed by the novitiate's sisters, Mrs. Adolphe Netter, of Donaldsonville, and Mrs. August Braud and Miss Emma Maurin, of New Orleans. Mrs. Adolphe Netter went to New Orleans Monday morning to be present at the solemn ceremony which marked the admission of her sister, Miss Martha Maurin, into the order of Dominican sisters. Mrs. Netter, who was accompanied by her baby daughter, Bobette, returned home Wednesday.
