The christening of William Porcher Miles III, son of Dr. and Mrs. William Porcher 
Miles, of Burnside, took place last Monday in the little chapel at Burnside, Rev. 
John LaMothe, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, New Orleans, officiating. 
Messrs. Joseph Redhead, of Centerville, Miss., and Henry Waters, of Canada, are 
the Godfathers, and Miss Sally Beirne Miles is Godmother. A large number of 
friends of the happy young parents assembled in the pretty little edifice to 
witness the interesting ceremony.
