Mrs. L.M. Courtney, of Lynchburg, Va., who has been here for some weeks past on a 
visit to her aunt, Mrs. J.S. Thibaut, became the mother of a sweet baby daughter 
Sunday morning, the infant being the first that has come to bring added sunshine 
and joy into the hearts and home of the delighted young parents. As Miss Marie 
Waugh before her marriage, Mrs. Courtney was a frequent guest of the Thibaut 
household, and she has a wide circle of friends here who will be interested to 
learn of her new-found happiness.
