A lovely little daughter arrived at the home of Dr. and Mrs. William Porcher 
Miles, of Burnside, Tuesday last, the 16th inst. She will be christened May 
Carroll, after Mrs. Miles' mother, who was the wife of the late Rev. Dr. Henry 
Harcourt Waters, pastor of Saint Paul's church in New Orleans for a number of 
years. Cordial congratulations are extended to Dr. and Mrs. Miles by an extensive 
coterie of friends.
