F. Walter, a resident of Donaldsonville, filed a declaration and oath of his 
intention to become a citizen of the United States and a renunciation of all 
allegiance to any foreign prince, potentate, sovereignty and State and 
particularly to the Emperor of Prussia, of whom declarant was formerly a subject.
