(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, September 12, 1885, Image 3 Mrs. Rosalie Achée, née Ayraud, died at her residence at Labadieviile (sic) on Friday, the 11th inst., at 8 o'clock A. M., and was buried this forenoon at 10. Deceased was 70 years of age and leaves a long line of descendants to mourn the loss of a kinswoman noted for her many virtues and greatly esteemed by all who knew her. She was the mother of fourteen sons and one daughter, the latter being the wife of Judge J. A. Munch of Iberville. Nine of the sons are still living, and all are useful and respected citizens. Seven of her sons were in the Confederate army and one was killed during the war.
