Baton Rouge, La. Thursday, July 12, 1934

Mrs. Oscar Arceneaux died at her home in St. Amant Monday at 4 p. m. Funeral 
services were held in the St. Amant Catholic church with Rev. Dornsdorf 
officiating. Interment was in St. Amant Catholic cemetery.

She leaves her husband and six children, Mrs. Camille Bourgeois of Brignac, 
Mrs. Omar LeBlanc St. Amant, Mrs. Dennis LeBeau of Brignac, Mrs. Adlerd 
Braud of Duplessis, Mr. Ernest and Jules Arceneaux of Brignac; one sister, 
Mrs. Alfred Bourgeois; 45 grand children and 61 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Arceneaux was a life-time resident of New River, and was a member of 
one of the oldest families.
