Shannon, 24, a former resident of Prairieville and resident of Elk City, 
Okla., died Sunday, June 22, 2008, in Elk City after a car accident. Funeral 
services were held in Elk City on Tuesday, June 24. Survived by his parents, 
Rachel Ayo, of Sabattus, Maine, and Eugene Ayo Jr., of Texas City, Texas; 
brother, Michael Ayo, of Skowhegan, Okla.; maternal grandmother, Bernadette 
Turcotte, of Lewiston; paternal grandmother, Betty Veazey, of Prairieville; 
and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his sister, Christina 
Ayo; maternal grandfather, Jean M. Turcotte; paternal grandfather, Eugene Ayo 
Sr.; and paternal uncle, Russell Ayo. He will be sorely missed by his family 
and friends.
