The funeral of Miss Olivia Ayraud, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John H. Ayraud of this place, who died at Denver, Colorado, a few days ago, took place in New Orleans last Tuesday, Rev. Father Voght officiated and the remains were laid to rest in Washington cemetery. Many beautiful floral offerings were placed upon the casket, among them being one each from the Louisiana State Nurse's Association, Touro Infirmary and the Touro Alumni Association. The graduate nurses, class 1909, of which the deceased was a member, attended the funeral in a body. It was the wish of Miss Ayraud that she be laid to rest in New Orleans, the scene of the work which she was pursuing up to the time her illness compelled her to seek another climate. The change brought no improvements to her condition, and after lingering for a short while she peacefully passed away unto the tender care of God, and loving hands tenderly tucked away the withered body in the beautiful and peaceful Washington cemetery. The following acted as pall-bearers: A. F. Commagere, J. H. D'Meza, Hy. A. Terrio, Tilden Fernandez, Walter Braud and Sid G. Flaspoller.
