Died at 1:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 1980 at Dixon Memorial Hospital, Denham Springs. He was 86, a native and a resident of Head of Island. He was a retired farmer. Body at Welsh Funeral Home in Gonzales with visiting from 2:30 p.m. to midnight Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 12:15p.m. Friday. Religious services at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Whitehall, at 1 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Tom F. Quinlivan. Survived by two daughters Mrs. Thelma Aime LeBlanc, Baton Rouge and Mrs. Myrtha Aime Simoneaux, Head of Island; four sons, Junius P. Aime, Head of Island, Ervey Aime, Baker, Alton Aime, Arabi, and Octave G. Aime, Chalmette; four sisters, Mrs. Margaret LeBourgeois, Mrs. Pauline Guitreau anf Mrs. Matilda Avants, all of Head of Island, and Mrs. Stella Penn, Ponchatoula,; two brothers, Paul Aime Jr., Head of Island, and George Aime, Oregon; 22 grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Head of Island.
