ACHEE, BARBARA ANN BOURGEOIS "BOBBIE" A homemaker and resident of St. Amant, she died at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, 1997, at Woman's Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer. BABIN, LLOYD ANDREW A retired accountant with Vignes Bombet with 40 years of service and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died Thursday, Nov. 13, 1997, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. BERGERON, ELLA MAE BLANCHARD A homemaker and resident of Donaldsonville, she died at 9:20 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 1997, in Donaldsonville. A retired insurance agent and consultant who served 60 years as owner and president of Fife/Spaht Insurance Agency and a resident of Gonzales, he passed away Tuesday, Dec. 9, 1997, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. He was 88 and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving under Gen. George S. Patton. Entombment in Hope Haven Mausoleum. HENRY "GUN SLINGER" A retired employee of U.S. Public Service Hanson Disease Center, Carville, he died at 9:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 1998, at his residence in Carville. He was a native of White Castle. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Interment in Ashberry Cemetery, White Castle. He was 77, born Sept. 27, 1920, in Donaldsonville. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Visiting at St. Anne Catholic Church, Napoleonville, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and after 8 a.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial at the church at 10 a.m. Friday, conducted by his son, the Rev. Charles Landry, C.SS.R. and concelebrated by numerous clergy with the Most Rev. Alfred C. Hughes presiding. Entombment in St. Anne Mausoleum. Survived by wife, Irene Berthelot Landry; four sons, the Rev. An accounting supervisor for City Court of Baton Rouge, he died at 3 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, 1997, at his residence. He was 60, a native of Donaldsonville and a resident of Baton Rouge since 1984.
