Death of Trasimond Babin. - Trasimond Babin, a native of this parish, but for the 
past twenty years a resident of St. James, died at his home at Convent on Friday 
of  last week, the 7th inst., at 2:30 o'clock p. m., aged fifty-nine years and 
nine months. The funeral took place Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, impressive 
services being held at St. Michael's Catholic church in the presence of a large 
concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends. Mr. Babin is survived by his 
devoted wife and an adopted daughter, Miss Odile Babin, to whom The Chief tenders 
assurances of profound sympathy.
