A. A. Sarradet Bereaved. - In common with his multitude of friends 
throughout this section, The Chief proffers sincere sympathy to its esteemed 
fellow-townsman, A. A. Sarradet, in the bereavement inflicted upon him by 
the death of his mother, Mrs. John E. Babin, who passed away on Wednesday of 
last week at her home in Brusly Landing. Mrs. Babin, who age was 73 years, 
suffered a stroke of paralysis several weeks ago and had been in a serious 
condition since that time. The funeral took place Thursday morning, Aug. 5, 
with services and interment in St. John's Catholic church and cemetery, at 
Brusly Landing. Besides her son, Mrs. Babin is survived by her husband and 
two daughters, Mrs. E. Bourgeois and Mrs. Alfred Gwin.
