Creamer marykcreamer.00@gmail.com February 24, 2023, 11:29 pm source: The Times-Democrat (New Orleans, LA) Friday, 05 September 1902, page 3 NECROLOGICAL. - Mrs. Mary Jane Badeaux, Donaldsonville. - Special to The Times- Democrat. - Donaldsonville, La., Sept. 4. - Mrs. Mary Jane Badeaux, a native of Thibodaux, died here last night, in her fifty-sixth year, and her remains were interred in the Protestant Cemetery this afternoon, after ceremonies in the Episcopal Church, conducted by Rev. U.B. Bowden. Though twice married, Mrs. Badeaux leaves only one son, Wallace W. Barron, assistant manager of the St. Louis plantation, near Plaquemine, who was for a number of years a resident of this parish, where he has a large circle of friends. Mrs. Badeaux leaves a mother, Mrs. A. Burton, aged eighty-three years, two sisters, Mrs. R.T. Hanson, Jr., and Mrs. E.E. Menzies, and three brothers, R.R. Burton, Clayton J. Burton and Walter Burton. All these relatives are residents of this town or parish except R.R. Burton, who lives in St. Bernard parish.
