The many Donaldsonville friends of Mrs. Michael Tobias, formerly of this city, 
but now residing in New Orleans, tender her sincere sympathy in the bereavement 
she has sustained through the death of her mother, Mrs. Abraham H. Badt, who 
passed away at 3 o'clock a.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, aged sixty-eight years. Mrs. 
Badt, whose maiden name was Frericka Frelich, was a native of Posen, Prussia, and 
had lived in New Orleans for twenty-five years. The funeral took place at 2 
o'clock Friday afternoon, Nov. 1, interment being made in the cemetery of Gates 
of Prayer Congregation.
