Beaucoudray, 78, a resident of Prairieville, ied at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2008, at his home. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home on Monday, July 21, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Religious service at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 22, at 10 a.m. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his wife of 52 years, Jerrie Aguillard Beaucoudray; two daughters, Yvette Beaucoudray Guilbeau and husband Joey, and Denise Beaucoudray Whitehead and husband Bret; two sons, Byron Keith Beaucoudray and wife Debbie, and Neil G. Beaucoudray and wife Vicki; a sister, Carol Beaucoudray; a brother, Alden Beaucoudray; six grandchildren, Nicole and Rachel Beaucoudray, Bailey and Blake Whitehead, Aubrey Beaucoudray and Logan Venable; and a nephew, Steve Beaucoudray. Preceded in death by his parents, Alden C. and Juanita DeCuir Beaucoudray. Pallbearers will be Steve Beaucoudray, Joey Guilbeau, Bret Whitehead, Blake Whitehead, Billy O'quin, Dale Aguillard and Logan Venable. Honorary pallbearers are Scott Ashford and Mike Lambert. He was an avid LSU fan and a 1948 graduate of Istrouma High School. Special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice.
