(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, May 31, 1919, page 5 Death of Leandre Bloch. - A letter received by Arnaud Bloch of this city a few days ago, conveyed the sad intelligence of the death of his brother, Leandre Bloch, which occurred in Alsace, France, on May 2. Deceased was a highly educated man and for several years prior to his demise held the honored position of chief instructor of a public school in Alsace. He had always enjoyed good health and the news of his death proved a shock to his brothers, Arnaud and Morris Bloch of this city. Besides his two brothers, deceased is survived by a son, Roger; five nephews, Leon, Marcel, David and Leo Bloch and Marcel Himmler and one niece, Mrs. Marcel Himmler, all of whom reside here. The Chief tenders deep sympathy to the relatives in their bereavement.
