The sympathy of the entire community is extended to Mr. and Mrs. Sim Braud, 
formerly of this parish, in the bereavement they have sustained by the death of 
their infant son, Richard, who passed away at their home in New Orleans at 4 
o'clock last Thursday morning, aged four months. The remains were brought to 
Donaldsonville Thursday afternoon via the Mississippi Valley Railroad and were 
interred in the family tomb in the Catholic cemetery, after services at Ascension 
Church.
