source: From the contents of the trunk belonging to Mary Elma Courtney Brignac in my possession.

BRIGNAC, VINCENT

Died at 10:30 a.m. Monday at his residence at Lake, Age 85. Born in Ascension 
Parish. Member of the Catholic Church. Survived by his widow, former Mary 
Courtney, son, A. J. Brignac, Lake; sister, Mrs. Almotine Rushing, Pass 
Manchac; brother, Martin Brignac, New Orleans. Services at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday 
at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Lake. Rev. A. Wyashoff officiating. Burial 
in church cemetery.
