She was 94 and a native of Brignac. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Larry Brignac. Interment in Lake Cemetery, St. Amant. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Lois and Emile Landry, Prairieville, Barbara and John Wright Babin Jr., Duplessis, and Faye and Bobbie Mayers, Lake; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Orby Dupuy, Cheyenne, Wyo., and Rodney and Roselle Brignac and the Rev. Larry and Linda Brignac, all of Lake; 25 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Joseph Brignac; parents, Emile and Mary Villar Brignac; three daughters, Myrna Dupuy, Yvonne Ledoux and Mary Ann Brignac; three sons, Jimmy, Roy and Barry Brignac; sister, Elma Vampran; brother, Louis Leblanc; and two grandsons, Russ Landry and Todd Mayers. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. She was a born-again Christian and member of Broussard Grove Baptist Church.
